Overview
The Ravens were the unluckiest team in the NFL last season, as injuries upon injuries piled up on them throughout the season, especially with their starters, including JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Marlon Humphrey, Marcus Peters, Ronnie Stanley, and Lamar Jackson.
Because of those injuries, their defense was one of the worst in the league in terms of passing yards allowed. However, their secondary can get back to being one of the best in the league with the returns of Peters and Humphrey along with the additions of Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton.
They traded away Marquise Brown during the Draft, though they traded away the first round pick they received to the Bills for another first round pick they used to select Tyler Linderbaum, who is projected to win the starting center spot in B'more after Bradley Bozeman left for Carolina.
Ronnie Stanley, when healthy, is one of the best tackles in the league, but has played in only seven of the last 33 games for the Ravens. The question lies on if he will stay healthy and get back to being that All-Pro tackle he once was.
With Brown and Sammy Watkins gone, the pressure is now on Rashod Bateman to be their top wideout. The sophomore WR had an injury-plagued first year, but when he played, he showed flashes of being the top option.
The big question lies in Lamar Jackson. He still remains one of the most dynamic and explosive quarterbacks in the league, and because of him, the Ravens have a deadly ground attack. And that's not to mention said ground attack also has the likes of Dobbins and Edwards, who are both coming back after missing out on all of last season.
The question is if they can get back to form. However, the Ravens did rank 3rd in rushing attempts and yards last season, even without Lamar for the second half. When the ground attack is fully healthy, this is a running game to FEAR.
